Care & Use
As with all natural stone, marble contains microscopic pores that may absorb moisture over time. Depending on the characteristics of the stone, small amounts of moisture may occasionally become visible on the underside after prolonged contact with water. We recommend checking the bowl regularly and avoiding placement on moisture sensitive surfaces. This is a natural characteristic of genuine marble and not a manufacturing defect.
Using as a water bowl: while marble is a beautiful and durable material, it is a natural product with microscopic pores and natural veining. As a result, we cannot guarantee that the bowl is 100% waterproof when used continuously as a water bowl. If you choose to use it as a water bowl, we recommend placing a protective coaster underneath to catch any potential moisture and protect your floor or furniture.
